Here is an introduction to, Greg Oberhelman, the founder and owner of Triune Training Academy. Greg is a local kid who grew up in Kansas City, Kansas and turned his passion for dogs into a successful career. Here are just some of the characteristics that make up the successful, Canine Professional.

At an early age you could find Greg spending most of his day working with his personal dogs in the park. He always had a natural ability with dogs. Greg took his childhood dream and started making it a reality.

In 1978, Greg embarked on learning the art of dog training as an apprentice at, Midwest K9 Training, securing the title of professional handler. He continued to excel and quickly advanced to the level of assistant instructor. Then Greg began teaching and instructing public classes for, Midwest K9 Training Center, in Edwardsville, KS. These career opportunities set the foundation for Triune Training Academy.

By 1985, he enrolled in the Master Instructor's Course to learn the true science of dog training. During this course, Greg had the privilege of studying face-to-face with wolves, which unlocked the door to the K9 world. This experience as Greg put it, "gave me the insight into the K9 world I use today."

It was in 1986 that, Greg, founded Triune Training Academy. In 1990, with the success of the business, Greg decided to train dogs fulltime leaving behind a 16yr career at General Motors. Triune Training Academy has now been in operation in Desoto, KS for over twenty years. Greg is proud of the company's success and the many families influenced from his services.

Greg Oberhelman has over 25 years of dog training and behaviorist experience in instructing people and to this day is still modifying and perfecting dog training techniques.
